2012 AFC Futsal Championship will be hosted in Thai Land

Iran have dominated the AFC Futsal Championships, winning 10 of the 11 editions held to date, while Japan grabbed a solitary crown in 2006.

Thailand are the top ranked ASEAN nation, finishing as runners up in 2008 and third on four separate occasions.
