D.C. United Slams the Galaxy - Beckham's Team
by Ally White The latest game between the Los Angeles Galaxy and D.C. United ended up in a most unexpected loss from Beckham's team last Sunday under a bright sun and humid weather. D.C United defeated the Galaxy in a very consistent way for a final score of 4 goals to 1. D.C player Marcelo Gallardo scored one goal, while Luciano Emiliano helped the team scoring two times and Jaime Moreno managed a penalty kick to end the game with a victory. For this one game the RFK Stadium had a season-high of 35,979 spectators. So far in the season D.C. United has an undefeated streak of six games with a total of 18 goals of which 9 have been scored by MVP Emilio.
